It is time to start saying your goodbyes to the Starfish. Effective February 1st, we will officially be using GoodPoints!

What is GoodPoints?
It is our new employee recognition and rewards program and a way for you to be caught – and to catch others – doing GOOD! We want you to be able to recognize and reward each other when you see someone living out one or more of our core values. So, you can give a GoodPoint to anyone that shows one or more of the values below. We will be highlighting these in the coming months.

Some Exciting Changes
- THERE ARE NEW PRIZES. I REPEAT – NEW PRIZES!!!
New prizes include Amazon and Visa gift cards and a PTO day. Please note that the gift cards are subject to tax as they are considered income. The PTO day can be used by full-time AND part-time staff. - Mission Up/Service Up is now Bonus Points. Bonus Points should be given when someone goes above and beyond their normal job duties. This is worth 5 GoodPoints.
- Effective Immediately: Employees can now make Bonus Point, Employee of the Month and Team of the Month nominations on TimeStar computers and in Citrix. This is new as many employees were not able to make their own nominations but had to go through their supervisor. Look for this icon:
I’m Sure You Have Some Questions…
- Do I have to cash in my current Starfish or they will expire?
No. Any Starfish dated July 1, 2019 – January 31, 2021 can be cashed in at any time for prizes. 1 Starfish = 1 Goodpoint. - Is a GoodPoint worth more points if multiple core values are shown?
No. If you get a GoodPoint where more than 1 core value is selected, it is still worth 1 point. - When will we have access to GoodPoints to give to someone?
In the coming weeks all stores, DCs and admin buildings will be mailed posters, brochures, and GoodPoints pads to give out. We will also have a folder on G-drive for digital materials. An email will be sent out when that is available. - Can I nominate someone for Bonus Points or Employee of the Month now?
You sure can! Make sure to use the icon shown above and follow the prompts. Please note that for Employee of the Month, the person should be going above and beyond for a month or longer. Not a one-time event. - How do I cash in my Starfish/GoodPoints for prizes?
Send your Starfish/Goodpoints to your supervisor who will review, mark your points as cashed in and will submit your order for you. It’s your time to shine and show off all those points you’ve earned! You do not need to mail or scan in your Starfish/GoodPoints. - What do we do with our Starfish wall/board?
Hang tight! We will be doing a contest to see which location(s) can design the coolest of GoodPoints walls!
