York, Pa. – Goodwill Keystone celebrated the grand opening of its donation-only center at 2915 Whiteford Road, York, PA 17402, on Wednesday, July 23, at 10 a.m.
Located next to the Men’s Wearhouse on Whiteford Road and close to the York Galleria, the new attended donation center (ADC) offers York residents a convenient drive-up, drop-off location for accepted Goodwill donations. Goodwill Keystone team members will meet donors at their parked vehicles outside of the Donation Door to collect items.
The new drop-off location is open Monday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The first ever Goodwill York ADC will accept items typically donated to Goodwill Keystone stores, including clothing, housewares, kids’ toys, electronics, and more.
Please note: This is not a retail store—shopping will not be available at this location. For those interested in browsing or purchasing items, the nearest Goodwill retail store locations are 1120 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17404, and 965 Loucks Rd, York, PA 17405.
“We’re excited to open Goodwill Keystone’s first-ever, donation-only center in York County,” said President and CEO Ed Lada. “This convenient, community-based location makes it easier than ever for York residents to give back. Every donation fuels our mission and brings us closer to our vision: creating sustainable communities that thrive and flourish—by keeping usable goods out of landfills and creating jobs and opportunities for the citizens of York.”
All donations made at this center will support Goodwill Keystone’s mission across York County, and central and southeastern Pennsylvania. Each donated item helps divert waste from landfills, reducing the environmental impact of discarded clothing and electronics.
