Goodwill Keystone Area announced the opening of a new store at the Pottstown Plaza this spring.
Goodwill is kick-starting its arrival with a donation drive event on Saturday, January 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 799 N. State St. in Pottstown. The first 50 donors will receive a $5 Goodwill gift card and a Goodwill shopping bag that can be used when the new store opens its doors.
This event marks the beginning of a new chapter for Goodwill Keystone Area in Pottstown, and the organization encourages residents to drop off gently used items on Saturday. Items that Goodwill can accept include:
• Antiques and collectibles;
• Art;
• Books;
• CDs, records, videos and DVDs;
• Clothing;
• Footwear;
• Games and toys;
• Housewares;
• Jewelry and accessories;
• Linens and rugs;
• Musical instruments;
• Outerwear;
• Sports equipment and more.
