Clothing & Housewares Donations: What Not to Donate

Goodwill cannot accept some donations due to safety concerns, environmental regulations and high disposal cost. Dollars we use to dispose of these items take funds away from our employment and training programs. We appreciate your help in keeping unsafe items out of our stores by not donating items that have been recalled, banned or do not meet current safety standards.

Items we cannot Accept

  • Infant Furniture (Cribs, Highchairs, Car Seats, Strollers, etc.)
  • Air Conditioners
  • Large Appliances
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Large Exercise Equipment
  • Household Chemicals
  • Kerosene Heaters
  • Lawn Mowers
  • Mattresses
  • Small Engines
  • Tires
  • Weapons
