Goodwill Participates in Be Bold, Take Charge Donation Drive

Be Bold, Take Charge, a community health initiative of Penn State Berks and Penn State Health St. Josephs, will gather professional clothing from March 20 to April 2. The clothing drive is in partnership with Goodwill Keystone Area and Berks Connections Pretrial Services.

Donation bins will be located at Penn State Berks in the Perkins Student Center and the Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building.

Clothing can also be donated at any local Goodwill store, with clear reference given to support the Be Bold, Take Charge Professional Clothing Drive.

Be Bold, Take Charge is supporting the work of Berks Connections in serving individuals transitioning from the judicial system back into the community. Commensurate with the volume of clothing donated, Goodwill has offered to provide gift cards for those served by Berks Connections to buy work attire.

Anyone interested in making monetary donations can visit www.berksconnections.org/bbtcgoodwilldrive to help provide transportation assistance for job-seeking individuals.
