Goodwill Opens New Store in Trappe

Goodwill Keystone Area is opening a new store at the Trappe Center, 130 West Main Road, Trappe, PA, on Monday, August 29 at 9am.

After several years at the Limerick Square Center in Royersford, PA, Goodwill closed this location on July 27, 2016, and moved the store and donation operations to an 11,000 square foot space at the Trappe Center. The new location will better server donors and customers. In addition to a new look, it will offer a bigger selection, wider aisles, and spacious dressing rooms.

Rick Moser, vice president of retail operations for Goodwill Keystone Area, said, “This community has been very supportive. We are touched by the positive response and excitement about Goodwill moving to a larger location.”

The hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 9am to 9pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. The phone number is 610.226.4085.

Goodwill, a non-profit organization, supports persons with disabilities and other barriers to independence in achieving their fullest potential as workers and as members of the broader community. In support of the mission, Goodwill collects and sells donated items in 44 stores in 22 counties, including Montgomery County, in central and southeastern Pennsylvania. Goodwill’s philosophies is that work is a building block of community and that when people are given an opportunity to work, their self-esteem increases, they become connected to the community, and reach a higher level of independence.
