Goodwill Industries Keystone Area strives to provide services that meet the demands and needs of its diverse communities.

 

CareerLink Services

Several locations partner with the local CareerLink in order to provide services to those individuals in the community that need an extra support to get a job or additional training. We offer employment services, retail training opportunities, and support services in several of the CareerLink locations.

Youth Success Planning Initiative

Goodwill’s Youth Success Planning Initiative is a community based program that exposes youth to a wide range of activities and learning experiences designed to improve their chances of success in school and employment so that they become active and contributing members of their communities.

 

Senior Community Service Employment Program

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work based training program for older workers. It was authorized by Congress in Title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965 to provide subsidized, part-time, community service work based     training for low-income persons 55 years of age or older who have poor employment prospects.

 

Wheels for Work

Provides the needed transportation for individuals with barriers to commute to work and in many cases access to other services that help promote long term employment and self-suffiency.

 

Goodwill at Homefields Farm

This specialty service provides agricultural/horticultural opportunities for individuals with development disabilities who can benefit from soft and hard skill training in an agricultural environment.
