
School
to Work Transition services provide students with disabilities and
other barriers to employment the opportunity to learn job skills
and work behaviors while still in high school. Goodwill works with
local school districts, intermediate units, the Office of Vocational
Rehabilitation, and the Offices of Mental Health/Mental Retardation
to match a student’s abilities and interests with jobs in
the community. This service allows students to gain valuable work
experience and to develop a career plan in conjunction with their
individualized education plan.

entire Goodwill Keystone Area territory. We work with the local
school districts, intermediate units, the Offices of Vocational
Rehabilitation, and the Offices of Mental Health/Mental Retardation
to provide for students. The common goal is to match the student’s
abilities and interests with jobs in the community. This service
allows students to gain a valuable work experience and develop a
career plan in conjunction their individualized education plan.
