Our Wheels for Work Program is available to residents in the following Counties in Pennsylvania

Wheels for Work Participant Requirements:

- Applicant must fall below the 200% poverty level. (If married both parties incomes must fall below 200% poverty level)
200% Poverty Chart
Income must fall below accepted amounts listed below.
2 persons- $27,380
3 persons- $34,340
4 persons- $41,300
5 persons- $48,260
6 persons- $55,220
- Applicant must be employed for 20 hours a week or more OR enrolled in school or an employment training program.
- Applicant may NOT have received a car through the Wheels for Work program in the past.
- Applicant must have at least one child in their household under the age of 18 and be the legal guardian of said child.
- Applicants must prove they do not own a car. Pen Dot will be able to print a report that will list all cars registered to the applicant for a small fee.
- Applicants must reside in a county serviced by Goodwill Industries, Central PA.
- After acceptance in the program applicants must complete a class on financial management at an approved site.
- Accepted applicants that fall between the 185%-200% of poverty will also assume the responsibility of paying Tags and Title ($58.50) for the vehicle they will receive from our program.
