Donations - How and What
Donations can be made at our retail stores and attended donation
centers. Goodwill’s philosophy is, “Give to Goodwill
what you would give to a friend.”
The lists below are to be used as
guidelines. There are many items we can sell in the stores that
are not on the list. There may be other items that need to be turned
down due to size, condition or suitability. For more information,

us, or call 1-800-432-GIVE (1-800-432-4483).
Most Needed Items
- Clothing of any kind (women’s, men’s, children’s,
infants')
- Books, records, tapes
- Furniture
- Collectibles and antique items
- Jewelry
- Shoes, accessories (handbags, ties, belts, scarves)
- Household (dishes, housewares, knick-knacks)
- Domestics (sheets, towels, blankets)
- Small electrical (radios, televisions, clocks, lamps)
- Toys, infant items
Goodwill regrets that we must decline certain items due to applicable
laws, government restrictions or excessive processing costs such
as landfill, hauling
and tipping fees.
Items We Cannot Accept
- Air conditioners
- Large appliances
- Computers
- Dehumidifiers
- Large exercise equipment
- Household chemicals
- Kerosene Heaters
- Lawn Mowers
- Small engines
- Tires
- Weapons
